Most people are suitable for some sort of SPMU. During the consultation I will discuss with you in great detail the procedure from start to finish, your expectations and any features you wish to enhance or correct. We will also discuss colours and how to look after your freshly tattooed make up.

SPMU can last for many years, however there is no way of predicting an exact time frame as it is all dependent on several factors - skin type, age, sun exposure, lifestyle and aftercare. For these reasons this is why I recommend a refresher top up every 9 - 12 months to keep your SPMU lovely and fresh.

Appointment length for semi permanent makeup is roughly 2 hours. During the appointment, you will need to complete a medical consent form to check you are eligible for the treatment, we will then discuss in full your expectations, what we are aiming to achieve and to explain the process and aftercare you would need to adhere to. When the procedure begins, we spend time drawing on the shape to ensure you are fully happy before proceeding. The tattooing usually takes around 1 - 1 1/2 hours. You will then be required to attend a top up 4-6 weeks after to complete the treatment.

An anaesthetic will be applied to the area being worked on prior and during the treatment to minimise any discomfort. I take great care with every client making sure that they are relaxed and reassured at all times.

This will be explained in depth and you will be issued with instructions to take home. It is vital that you adhere to your aftercare instructions to ensure that you are not vulnerable to infection once you have left the environment of the clinic.

If a treated area is picked, pulled or knocked, not only is it more susceptible to infection it may also affect the healed result and could appear uneven and require more work for which there will be an additional charge.
